The Next Anjunadeep Compilation Masterpiece Drops This Month

The wait is almost over, Anjunadeep fans! The latest compilation masterpiece from the deep house label is locked and loaded. Anjunadeep 13 lands on Friday 25 March – and we can’t wait to wrap our ears around it.

In time honoured tradition, label chiefs Jody Wisternoff and James Grant have mixed the new compilation. Featuring 40 tracks across two discs, Anjunadeep 13 showcases new artists signed to the label along with familiar names. Expect new music from Lane 8, Cubicolor, Tinlicker, MOLØ, Simon Doty, Joseph Ray and plenty more.

On Fire

“Jody and I have been spoilt for choice compiling Anjunadeep 13,” said label boss James Grant. “Our growing family has been on fire lately, with more amazing music than ever in the release schedule and a tantalizing wave of new talent coming through. We’re delighted to have them all on board, and to showcase their music in the mix. As always, we’re indebted to all the artists who feature,” added Grant. “It feels like the label is riding the crest of a wave right now and so we had a lot of amazing music to choose from.”

Wisternoff described compiling this year’s compilation “a labour of love”. He revealed that the mix also explores new musical territory. “It feels great to bring so many incredible new artists to the forefront amongst the more established names,” he stressed. “Stylistically this comp feels like a step into the future as we continue to broaden our musical horizons, while maintaining the core elements of emotion and depth.”

Hurry Back!

The British label has a solid fanbase here in the UAE. Fans flocked to Five Palm Jumeirah for Anjunadeep Open Air Dubai last month – the label’s first show of the year. Grant and Wisternoff headlined the day-to-night beach party, with label signings Luttrell, Dosem, Braxton and Mia Aurora all rocking the crowd. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait another year before the Anjunadeep crew return.
