There’s a new drum & bass party coming to Dubai and it kicks off with scene legend Andy C. Project 174 takes over the P7 Arena in Media One, on 6 October, for a night of grit, graffiti and gigantic dancefloor bombs.

There’s no stopping the UK’s Andy C. The Ram Records boss – also known as The Executioner for his insane DJ skills – recently played to a sea of bouncing d&b heads at the mighty Boomtown Fair, hosted a stage Creamfields, supported The Prodigy and is now on tour in Australia.

Long in the game but with unmatched infectious energy, the d&b don continues to push boundaries and smash records. He sold out London’s Wembley Arena in the venue’s first ever late-night gig and more recently sold out the city’s 02 – his biggest indoor show to date, where he played on five decks for five hours.

When he’s not smashing the granny out of his own shows, Andy C nurtures fresh talent through his record label. He released the debut album from Chase & Status on Ram Records, in 2008. ‘More Than a Lot’ went gold within three months of release and springboarded the pair to global success.

Set to become a regular fixture on the UAE’s party landscape, Project 174 is the new d&b night from Dubai’s Mac Global crew. Local DJs out to shine alongside Andy C include Motion, Yeomans and Whitley Ruchea. All this for just 200 dizzers. So, buy your ticket now and remember to bring your best bass face.
