Dan Greenpeace Kicks Off Collab Series with Rapper Diamond D

Pioneering DJ and radio host Dan Greenpeace is spearheading an exciting new collaboration series with his hip-hop heroes. And New York legend Diamond D sets the series off to a flying start, bringing the heat on the first release – ‘Nowhere To Run To’.

One of Dan’s biggest inspirations, Bronx native and legendary rapper Diamond D is a founding member of the Diggin’ in the Crates Crew, an acclaimed hip-hop collective commonly known as D.I.T.C. Accepting Dan’s invitation to collaborate, Diamond spits his trademark hard-hitting rhymes over Dan’s guitar and organ stab-heavy beats.

Veteran DJ and radio host Dan Greenpeace is a pioneering mixtape DJ. Beginning his radio career in 1986, he began producing music in 1989 and has collaborated with Yoda on numerous projects. Helming ground-breaking rap programme The All City Show on London’s XFM station for several years, Dan’s contribution to hip-hop culture under various guises now spans almost four decades. Now it’s come full circle with his focus back on studio work and his new recording project well underway.

Out now via All City Music on all the usual digital platforms, ‘Nowhere To Run To’ is also available as a limited 7” release on Kenny Dope’s Kay Dee Records.
