Super Producer Riton Brings That Friday Feeling to Zero Gravity

Mark your diary for this one. British DJ and producer Riton brings that Friday feeling to Zero Gravity this coming weekend. Riton will supply the party tunes at the venue’s popular Tropical Brunch. The super producer rocketed to the upper echelons of the charts earlier this year with feelgood anthem Friday.

The track samples The Nightcrawlers’ Push The Feeling On, which was a club anthem back in 1992. It also features social media sensations Mufasa and Hypeman, who are known for their viral dance clips. “They are the only people who should be allowed to use social media in 2021,” said Riton. “They got a lot of people through 2020, and so it’s only right to make a song out of it and do it all again in 2021.” Friday sounds great any day of the week. Prolific

Highly prolific, Riton is behind Grammy nominated tracks Rinse & Repeat, Up & Down and Ginger. Following the success of Friday, he teamed up with Bradford bassline collective Bad Boy Chiller Crew (BBCC). The collaboration spawned another great track, Come With Me. It ingeniously marries lyrics from True Faith’s 1989 track Take Me Away with BBCC’s sharp raps. Just last month, Riton released I Don’t Want You. A collaboration with Raye, it samples Dominica’s Gotta Let You Go track from 1994.

Know the Score

Now you can sample Riton in full effect at Zero Gravity on Friday 15 October. He joins Zero Gravity’s resident DJs and together they’ll soundtrack the day from sunshine to sunset, during and after Tropical Brunch. If you don’t know the score already, the brunch includes all day pool and beach access from 10am, plus unlimited food and beverages from 1pm – 5pm. The price is sweet too, at AED349 for ladies and AED399 for guys. Last month’s Hed Kandi’s takeover prompted a full house, so get down early to grab a sunlounger.
