Need music, will travel? The RAK Weekenders could be right up your street. While live music, DJ sets and even pre-recorded music is temporarily suspended in hotels throughout Dubai, the same rules don’t apply in neighbouring Ras Al Khaimah. Music to your ears? Read on.
The RAK Weekenders offer pocket-friendly staycations at the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort – with DJs and entertainment. The 5-star hotel boasts seven outdoor pools, a huge private beach and plenty of dining options.
Organised by Mais Musica, there are three weekender dates to choose from this month. DJs CN Williams and Nick Jones take care of the tunes 11th – 13th February. Drew Moreland, DJ Cameo and Matt West (on sax) provide the soundtrack over 18th – 20th. And the lovely Natalie Brogan and Jenn Getz own the decks from 25th – 27th.
Options
The Mais Musica team has put together the RAK Weekenders “to give people an option for music, entertainment and some fun”. The two nights/three days staycation costs just AED1000 per person. That’s based on two people sharing a double or twin room. The price includes breakfast and beverages from check-in to check-out. Oh, and there’s 20% off food too.
If you can’t manage weekends, there’s a cheeky “more chilled” mid-week version from 15th – 17th February. Mais Musica chief Jon Besant is the mid-week selector, along with Robbie Blanco and Bethany Marie.
The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort is just a 90-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. The hotel adheres to local government Covid-19 precautionary measures.
