Adam Beyer’s Drumcode is on course for a shipshape summer, teaming up with The Yacht Week Croatia for more clubbing adventures. Joining forces once again, the techno kingpin’s brand and The Yacht Week are planning seven days of extraordinary parties on a flotilla of yachts and in unique locations along the stunning Croatian coastline.
Beyer and his crew found their sea legs at the inaugural Drumcode x The Yacht Week in Croatia this summer. And the memories are lingering, with the Drumcode boss claiming the event exceeded all his expectations. “The intimacy of this unique experience truly blew me away – staying on yachts metres apart, exploring all day and partying all night with the Drumcode family,” says Beyer. “It was amazing to meet people who had travelled from Argentina, Australia and LA for the event, all connecting over our shared love of the music.”
Versatility of Techno
The partnership dispels the myth that techno is suited to just underground clubs, raves and festivals. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Adriatic sea and Croatian islands, the event demonstrates the versatility of techno as a genre and highlights the nuances and different energy levels that different artists can bring. Venues in 2022 included a lighthouse on a deserted island, a submarine shelter and a historic fortress, with DJ sets also played from a floating DJ booth to a floating dancefloor. Summer 2023 promises to up the ante, with more unique venues, pop-up parties and surprises to be announced.
Running from 27th May – 3rd June, the next Drumcode and Yacht Week collaboration features rising label stars to cornerstone legends. As well as boss man Beyer, Marco Faraone, Layton Giordani, Juliet Fox, Anna Reusch, Eli Brown, Bart Skils and Wehbba are already onboard. Starting at £765/$862 per person, places are limited. Head over to The Yacht Week for booking info.
