Escape by the Beach with German Duo Frankey and Sandrino

With their Optical EP recently released on Crosstown Rebels, Frankey and Sandrino are heading this way. The German duo are coming to the UAE to headline Escape by the Beach, in Ras Al Khaimah. Dubai-based party crew Escape are taking over Banan Beach Resort, in RAK, for two days of “top-notch music and unforgettable vibes”.

Escape co-promoter Bachir Salloum is delighted to have bagged Frankey and Sandrino for Escape by the Beach. “With releases on labels such Innervisions, Diynamic, Mule, Muteq and Kompakt, their discography truly speaks for itself,” said Bachir. “Their label, Sum Over Histories, is one of my go-to labels for solid, groovy tracks. And they consistently deliver great shows wherever they play.” 

First-Class

The party at Banan Beach Resort also showcases the best UAE DJ talent. DJ and producer Bachir – one of our UAE Powerlisters of 2021 – has handpicked a first-class selection of local DJs to rock the resort. Bachir, Barada, Jixo & Danz and Sam Farsio join Frankey and Sandrino on the day one line-up. Hassan Alwan leads a Boogie Box showcase on day two, which also features slick sets from Hoolz, Ledwarf and Maks. “Escape by the Beach is all about quality music, dancing and having fun in a beautiful setting,” added Bachir.  

Escape by the Beach kicks off at 5pm on Saturday 5 February, with the music pumping until 3am. The music kicks back in between noon and 7pm on Sunday 6 February. Day tickets are AED350 and weekend tickets just AED525. Located on Marjan Island, Banan Beach Resort also offers a variety of accommodation.
