Best feature: Filter and the arpeggiator
Tip/Trick: Try the build in distortion function
The kit: Phoscyon
Why it’s a key part of my studio set-up: This is super easy to use and it’s easy to create new ideas for bass loops or bass layers on top of a bass loop.
Best feature: Random function

Best feature: You can choose a variety of shapes for the LFO to move.
Tip/Trick: Hold shift and click on the right or left arrow, that way you can change the position of the shaper by detail.
The kit: Native Instruments RAUM
Why it’s a key part of my studio set-up: Experimental sounding reverb that brings a cool colour to your sounds, not like other reverbs.
Best feature: Diffusion button
Tip/Trick: It’s free to download from Native Instruments.
The kit: Ableton Audio to Midi
Why it’s a key part of my studio set-up: It allows me to create ideas in my head and communicate them to my DAW.
Best feature: Melody to midi
Tip/Trick: Sing or mumble the melody that’s in your head, record it with a microphone, then convert the audio melody to midi.
