Not content with securing Adriatique for its NYE celebrations, Soho Garden has added Solardo to the line-up. Solardo will rock Soho Garden, while Adriatique control the tunes on the upper deck of the Dubai venue.
It’s a double-win for Dubai’s club heads. Sure, social distancing is still in place. But with Solardo and Adriatique among the hottest artists on the underground scene, the music will be top-notch.
Homage
Solardo – Manchester duo Mark Richards and James Eliot – released Enough earlier this month on Ultra Records. Featuring vocalist Rowetta, it’s a proper nod to old skool rave. The track soared to No.1 in Beatport’s Top 100 Breaks Chart. “2020 has been a tough year for us all… we’ve all missed the clubs, festivals and going out, but most of all we miss our fellow ravers and enjoying the madness together,” said the Solardo lads prior to the track’s release. “With this in mind, we made this tune in homage to everything we’re missing.”
Solardo also received a new decoration for their studio recently – a silver disc from the British Phonographic Industry. The disc was awarded in recognition of the UK sales they notched up for 2019’s XTC track, featuring Eli Brown.
After NYE’s shenanigans, Mark and James will be back in Dubai, in May, for huge house weekender Destination Unknown.

Melodic Techno
Purveyors of lush melodic techno, Adriatique is the talented duo of Adrian Naird and Adrian Alahs. Both from Zurich, the lads met in 2008 and quickly forged a solid friendship based on their love for electronic music. A year later they were producing tracks and playing out as Adriatique – and they haven’t looked back since.
Their Siamese Anthology III compilation is out now. “This release consists of tracks that get played in the more melodic part of our sets,” said Adriatique.
