Techno overlord Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Festival rolls into Malta, next September – and former Dubai-based DJ Raxon is on the line-up. Go on, son!
Over 40 artists from the Drumcode family and beyond will DJ at the four-day event. Playing over eight stages, headliners include label boss Beyer along with Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex and Chris Liebing.
Festival Debuts
Kevin Saunderson will make an appearance with his legendary E-Dancer project, while Chicago luminary DJ Rush makes his Drumcode festival debut.
After multiple standout releases on Drumcode in the last 18 months, Raxon, Rebūke and Will Clarke also make their festival debuts for the label.
A former Dubai resident, DJ and producer Raxon, who’s originally from Egypt, is much-loved here in the emirate. While honing his DJ skills as a long-standing resident at Audiotonic, he was voted Best Dubai DJ in 2013 and 2014 by Time Out. After moving to Barcelona, Raxon’s career is in the ascent with tracks releases on Ellum, Diynamic, Kompakt and Cocoon, as well as Beyer’s label. We’re delighted to see Raxon smashing it!
Core label favourites Bart Skils, Layton Giordani, Alan Fitzpatrick and Ida Engberg will also rock the Drumcode Festival Malta crowd. Joel Mull, Thomas Schumacher, Luigi Madonna, Ilario Alicante, Victor Ruiz and Julian Jeweil are all locked and loaded too.
Outside the regular festival programming, the label will also be throwing boat and hotel parties across the four days.
Drumcode Festival Malta takes place from 16th – 19th September 2021. Find out about ticket and accommodation packages here.
