Experiences
From humble beginning as a mobile DJ, Carl Cox has chalked up amazing experiences as the king of the underground. One of the first DJs to wow crowds with his three-deck mixing, Coxy enjoyed a 16-year residency at Space Ibiza. He’s forged a 20-year partnership with Ultra Music Festival and played every major festival on earth worth its salt. He said hello to the new millennium twice – performing in Sydney, Australia, before flying back over the International Date Line to play in Hawaii. He’s played in some incredible locations – from the UK’s Houses of Parliament to the Playground Camp at Burning Man. And throughout it all, Coxy remains as humble today as the day he started out.
Throughout the Covid-19 madness, Carl Cox is keeping fans sane via Cabin Fever – The Vinyl Sessions. The weekly sessions allow him to show the breadth and depth of his musical taste across multiple genres and eras. Coming from a fountain of knowledge and experience, Coxy’s autobiography will be a real page-turner. We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy.
