You know the saying “Go big or go home”, right? Well, the Escape party at Bianky Beach Camp is going big. French DJ and producer Sébastien Léger headlines there on Friday, 5th February – the first international DJ to play at the cool, beachside venue.
Léger has enjoyed some big moments lately. The DJ and producer debuted his new live modular show in spectacular fashion late last year. He performed at the Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, for Cercle. For the uninitiated, Cercle films and broadcasts DJ performances in carefully selected locations around the world. Léger’s set from the Great Pyramids has raked up more than 1.3 million views. Meanwhile, his Giza Extended track, released on Cercle Records, hit No.1 on Beatport’s Top 100 Organic House/Downtempo Chart.
Lost Miracle
Léger launched his Lost Miracle record label in 2019. An outlet for his own music, Lost Miracle has also released tracks by Khen, Shai T, Tim Green and more. The label’s first release of 2021 is Greg Ochman’s Delylah, out now.
“People know what we’re all about now,” said Léger on the label. “It’s about music that has a strong melody, a timeless lead that is standout and unforgettable. But B-sides are always reserved for more experimental, hard to categorise and playful sounds.” Discover the label’s sound in more depth via the monthly Lost Miracle Radio Show.
Léger is also part of Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream family. Affectionately called All Day I Dream’s “first born son”, Léger has played numerous ADID parties and released several tracks on the label.
Big Deal
So yeah, Sébastien Léger playing an Escape party at Bianky Beach Camp is a big deal. What’s more, the support line-up – with Bachir Salloum, Hoolz, Iman Rohani, Voltaire and Hudyhoo – is awesome too.
Bianky Beach Camp is located at Zorah Beach, Ajman – just a 45 minute drive from Dubai. It’s a “laidback resort” with a pool and private beach. Far removed from the Hilton, Bianky Beach Camp is fun and charming in its own quirky way. It offers accommodation across a range of chalets, huts and tents. Alternatively, a day pass for the Léger party will set you back just AED250 in advance or cough up AED300 at the door. Doors open at noon and social distancing rules will apply.
