elrow Reveals Line-Up for Two-Day Outdoor Midlands Festival
Following our recent UK festival news round-up for UAE residents heading home in September, elrow has now unveiled the line-up for its two-day Midlands festival. This festival will rock with Joris Voorn headlining the first day and Groove Armada dropping a headline DJ set the next.
Dubbed “the world’s craziest party”, elrow rolls into Sandwell Valley Country Park, on the outskirts of Birmingham, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September. Under the theme of Nowmads New World, elrow promise incredible production, crazy characters and colourful clubbing. The party promoter’s biggest gig in the Midlands yet, the event now boasts a fat line-up too.
Dynamo
A fixture at the world’s best clubs and festivals, Dutch dynamo Joris Voorn headlines Saturday’s shenanigans. The influential house and techno DJ, producer and record label owner recently created the soundtrack for the Reset documentary. The film is showing in cinemas in The Netherlands now.
With releases on Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars and Moon Harbour, Detlef and Latmun go back-to-back on the opening day. After recently linking up with Calvin Harris’ alter-ego Love Regenerator, Eli Brown is also poised to drop serious dancefloor weapons.
Fire
The second day brings the legendary Groove Armada to town. When not slaying crowds with their full live set up, Andy Cato and Tom Findlay’s DJ sets are fire. The pair recently unleashed a piano workout remix of Dukwa’s My Journey Into Eternity.
With tracks on Rejected, Defected and his own LTF Records, Franky Rizardo is an elrow favourite. The Warehouse Project’s new resident Alisha has bumping underground house grooves primed, with house and techno duo Hott Like Detroit ready to drop twisted basslines and techy beats.
elrow resident superstars Marc Maya and Toni Varga take to the decks both days. Furthermore, showcasing local talent, Levels host The Whompy Stage on Saturday, with Wyld hosting on Sunday. Find out all the ticket info for this surreal elrow adventure right here.
