It’s On! Sébastien Léger Finally Heading to Bianky Beach Camp
This has been a long time coming! French DJ and producer Sébastien Léger will finally play at Bianky Beach Camp on Friday 1 October. Previous attempts to bring Léger to Ajman hit the skids due to Covid. Now he’s heading to the UAE with a DJ friend in tow. Roy Rosenfeld joins Léger for the Revelation party at Bianky and they are the first international DJs to play at the cool, beachside venue.
Sébastien Léger and Roy Rosenfeld recently collaborated on an as yet unreleased track. Earlier this year, Rosenfeld provided a guest mix for Léger’s Lost Miracle monthly podcast. Léger and Rosenfeld are also part of Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream family. Affectionately called All Day I Dream’s “first born son”, Léger has played numerous ADID parties and released several tracks on the label. His three-track Feel EP appeared on ADID just last month. Listen to the lead track below.
Lost Miracle Label
Sébastien Léger launched his own Lost Miracle record label in 2019. An outlet for his music, Lost Miracle has also released tracks by Khen, Shai T, Tim Green and more. The label recently released The Last Dance – the second outing from Shai T on the imprint.
“I run the label by trying to not spam my audience with releases,” says Léger, “so I try to release once every two-to-three months so that there’s space between each artist’s release. It’s so easy these days to release every week but then it becomes very impersonal. I like to run my label with care and quality music that I like. I make sure each EP has good club tracks that stay around for a long time.”
After premiering it at Egypt’s Great Pyramids of Giza for Cercle, Léger plans to perform his modular live show at Amsterdam Dance Event next month – if ADE goes ahead.
Support
Closer to home, and after unavoidable delays, we’re delighted to see Sébastien Léger at Bianky Beach Camp finally going ahead. There’s a cracking support line-up too. Ziad Ghosn goes back-to-back with Sam Farsio. Kundacci goes back-to-back with Liwaa. And Bianca Blanco and Voltaire UK round out the DJ line-up.
Bianky Beach Camp is located at Zorah Beach, Ajman – just a 45 minute drive from Dubai. Fun and charming in its own quirky way, it’s a “laidback resort” with a pool and private beach. It offers accommodation across a range of chalets, huts and tents. Alternatively, day pass tickets for the Léger party start at AED300. Doors open at noon and the music plays 2pm – 2am.
