Arab Fashion Week – Men’s Spring/Summer 2022 Edition Heads to d3

It’s all about the threads. Showcasing established and emerging designers, Arab Fashion Week for Men is heading to d3 – Dubai Design District. The move comes after d3 signed a new partnership with the Arab Fashion Council to empower the regional design and fashion community.

Arab Fashion Week – Men’s Spring/Summer 2022 runs from 28 – 30 June 2021. A hybrid event, designers will premiere their collections on Facebook Live and Instagram Live. d3 will host exclusive fashion activations.

Vibrant

A vibrant hive for design, fashion, architecture, art and retail, d3 is home to major fashion brands like Dior and Burberry, regional renowned designers and homegrown start-ups. Showcasing designers include Amato, Zardouz, EGOnlab, Emergency Room, Todd Hessert, Louis Gabriel Nouchi, Yasqueen, Lazoschmidl, 1886, Tommazo and Proud Angeles.

New Perspective

“This strategic partnership is important for the sustainable growth and development of the region’s fashion and haute couture industries,” said d3 chief Khadija Al Bastaki. “We all need to look at creativity from a new perspective. The hybrid format of activations for Arab Fashion Week Men’s Spring Summer 2022 will encourage dialogue on the future of fashion.”

World-Class

Jacob Abrian, Founder & CEO of the Arab Fashion Council, described d3 as Arab Fashion Week’s “new landmark home”. “Together, we are committed to continually providing the creative industry with a world-class platform to showcase their talent,” he added.

Mission

A former model, Abrian set up the Arab Fashion Council (AFC) when he was just 22. The AFC’s mission is to boost the Arab fashion industry’s position within the global fashion economy. In 2019, Abrian received the League of Gentlemen Award for his role in creating opportunities for Arab talent in the region.
