The New Highly-Anticipated Anjunadeep Compilation Spans Three Mixes

For the first time ever, this year’s Anjunadeep compilation spans three mixes instead of two. Meaning more beautifully emotive music for your listening pleasure. The deep house label’s annual mix compilation is always one of the most highly-anticipated drops of each year.

Anjunadeep 12 mixed by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff includes some of the label’s best tunes of 2020. It also showcases 50 new and exclusive tracks. There’s original cuts, remixes and edits from label stars like Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Böhmer and Tinlicker. And it introduces new faces Promnite, Franky Wah, Richie Blacker, Duke Boara and more.

Resolve and Creativity

“We’ve had a bit more time on our hands for obvious reasons,” said Anjunadeep co-founder and A&R chief James Grant. “This past year has presented many new challenges for our artists, whether coping without gigs, trying to stay inspired musically or just keeping safe. It would be understandable if 2020 wasn’t a very productive year but I’m pleased to say the opposite is true.”

He added: “Anjunadeep 12 is our most expansive compilation to date – spanning three mixes for the very first time. It’s testament to our remarkable roster of artists that they’ve navigated a difficult year with such resolve and creativity.”

Anjunadeep 12 is due for full release on Friday 5th February. The great news is you can listen to CD1 now. Or check it out on the label’s YouTube channel. CD2 previews this Friday, 29th January. With the final CD dropping one week later.

Escape

Grant told the label’s fans: “We hope Deep 12 can offer you a little escape and can’t wait to enjoy some of this music together in person with you in the not too distant future.”

Massive fans of the label, we enjoyed a cracking day out at the Anjunadeep 11 launch party, at The Beach, Five, The Palm, last February. James Grant, Jody Wisternoff, Penelope, Tinlicker and Yotto rocked that party. We’d love to see the Anjunadeep crew back in Dubai when the Covid-19 madness is over.
